A worrying situation in Ghanaian society:
The hustle and bustle of Accra's streets,
A worrying sight, that greets our feet.
The scramble for survival, the daily strife,
A never-ending struggle, for a better life.
The youth with dreams, but no chance to thrive,
A future uncertain, with no place to arrive.
The elders with wisdom, but no voice to share,
A generation silenced, with no one to care.
The cedi falls, and prices rise high,
A worrying sign, that reaches the sky.
The politics and corruption, a never-ending fight,
A nation's progress, hindered by the night.
But still we hope, and still we pray,
For a better tomorrow, a brighter day.
For a Ghana where all can thrive and grow,
Where worries fade, and peace and prosperity glow.
This poem touches on some of the worrying situations in Ghanaian society, including the struggle for survival, the challenges faced by the youth, the silence of the elderly, economic struggles, political corruption, and the hope for a better future.
